Example (Team A to win, stake ৳1,000): Decimal 2.50 = Fractional 3/2 = American +150. If you win, total return is ৳2,500 (৳1,500 profit + ৳1,000 stake); if you lose, ৳1,000 is gone.
Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Single Bet
A single bet means betting on just one event. Clicking next to any selection adds it to the bet slip. Once you enter a stake, the potential return is shown immediately.
Cricket example: Team A odds 1.80, Team B odds 2.00. A ৳500 bet on Team B returns ৳1,000 if Team B wins (৳500 profit); if Team A wins, ৳500 is lost.
Multi Bet (Multiple Selections)
You can create a multi bet by adding several selections to the bet slip at once. The odds of all selections are multiplied to form a combined odds, and a return is paid only if all selections win.
Multi bet example: 3 selections, odds 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.70 = 3.57 (approximate). A ৳100 bet returns ৳357 if all selections win; if even one loses, the full ৳100 is lost.
Odds for the Favourite
The favourite's odds are usually close to 1. For example, if Team B is the favourite, odds of 1.25 = Fractional 1/4 = American -400. A ৳1,000 stake returns ৳1,250 (৳250 profit); it may feel more certain, but the profit is lower.
Checking the Bet Slip
Before confirming a bet, check the selection, stake and potential return on the slip once more. Pressing the "Place Bet" button registers the bet and it will appear on the history page.
Sports and Casino — Two Types of Betting
Two types of betting can be done from the same account on takabe Bet — sports betting and casino games.
Sports betting: You can place bets on pre-match markets before a match starts, or place in-play bets on live odds while the match is in progress. Exchange example: Place ৳500 to BACK Team A — if Team A wins, you profit ৳500 (before commission); if they do not win, ৳500 is lost. If you LAY Team A, you take on the liability of a bettor's ৳500 stake — if Team A does not win, you profit ৳500 (before commission); if they win, you pay ৳500.
